I don’t know. I wonder how the PETI people will react? I’m pretty sure I’d need ethical clearance to do that here. On the other hand, I could probably get by without a permit if I ate them afterwards. Is the paint non-toxic?
Tempera paint uses organic compounds and is non-toxic. The maggots do fine with this. I wouldn’t venture to say whether or not you should eat either paint or maggots.
