I think moths are one group of insects I would avoid using an aspirator due to the wing scale. Otherwise I couldn’t get by without one (simple version – tube and tubing with mesh in between).
That’s probably good advice. In truth, I’m wary of collecting the smaller moths because I don’t seem to have the finesse necessary to spread their delicate wings!
